At children's birthday parties I do a 1 hour show.  The first 45 minutes are all magic. My shows are for children 3 years old and up through adult.  I gear my show to the ages of the children present, however if there are mixed ages and adults I can entertain with a variety of magic so the show is entertaining for all.  I have several children come up to assist me with some of the magic and at the end of the show, I do a "special" trick with the birthday child.  With the birthday child's help, I do a routine where we pretend to "bake" a birthday cake.  There is a lot of comedy and magic with this routine and we end up making candy for all the children.  The final trick in the show is the production of a live bunny rabbit, which all the children can pet.   While the children are petting the rabbit, I make balloon animals for all the children.

Adult birthday parties are also a lot of fun.  However, generally people at an adult birthday party aren't interested in watching a 45 min. magic show.  So close-up, walk around magic is generally best.  I can do this type of magic for 1 to 4 hours or more, depending on the number of people present.  Also balloon animal sculpturing may be included if desired.

Yes I have performed at a few bridal showers.  I generally do the close up walk around magic at bridal showers.  Also my balloon animal sculpturing is popular at showers.  The women especially like my variety of hearts, flowers and teddy bears.

Grand Openings are also a lot of fun.  A magician can help attract people of all ages to a new store's opening, or special event.  I generally am hired to sculpt balloon animals ( I do over 60 varieties) at Grand Openings.  However I can also do strolling magic.

December is a very busy month for me. I perform at many Christmas and Holiday parties for children and adults.  At many Christmas Parties I generally do a 45 min. show for the children just before "Santa's" arrival.  But many times I have also done balloons while children are waiting in line to visit with Santa.  Also at adult holiday parties I generally do the walk around type of magic, entertaining close-up going table to table or group to group.

I perform at quite a few picnics, either private or company sponsored.  The magic can range from a stand up show for the kids to strolling magic for kids and adults to a combination of both.

Many people are doing away with risqué stags.  More often stags are becoming parties where guys get together to celebrate without strippers,  but have other forms of entertainment.  I have also performed at "stags" that have men and women as guests. Card playing is popular and having a magician strolling around is terrific entertainment!  I have been doing magic at stags for 12 years now and I am doing more stags each year.  Generally I work 1 to 3 hours entertaining table to table, while the guys are eating, drinking and socializing.  My card tricks integrate nicely while guys are playing cards.  I even use the decks that the guys are playing poker with to do my magic, which makes it all the more entertaining.  I 

Magic is becoming more and more popular at weddings.  Generally, at weddings I am employed to do close up walk around magic during the cocktail hour and or dinner.  Also at weddings where children are invited,  I have done 45 min. to 1 hour shows for the children to keep them occupied either in a corner of the room or off in another room.  This way the adults can enjoy themselves while not having to worry about the children.

Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

I do Magic at many Bar/Bat mitzvahs.  Generally I am hired from 1 to 4 hours performing close-up magic table to table for the children and the adults.  Balloon sculpturing is also very popular at these celebrations.

Restaurants

Since my specialty is close-up magic I am very popular at local restaurants.  I walk around table to table, after restaurant guests have placed their order and before they have received their food.  I entertain children and adults.  I can also do balloon sculpturing at restaurants.  I also entertain patrons in lounges and waiting areas before they are seated.  This is especially helpful if there is a long wait to be seated.
